You can never go wrong with a book by Tijan, and this is my new favorite. In saying that I feel like I am cheating on my previous favorite which was Anti-Step Brother. No lie, I am in love with Shay Coleman. He was stubborn enough to get past the walls that Kennedy put up, and make her feel safe. There are many twists and turns in this book, it isn't angsty college romance.
The plot is well thought out, the characters, even the secondary ones are well thought out. I wish Tijan would do a book for Linde and Casey. That would be amazing. The sorcery that is Tijan is well and alive in this book, just like it is in all her books. She has a winning formula and she knows what we want as readers. This book is told only in Kennedy's POV.
