I LOVE Celia Aaron. Like legit love her and her words. While reading this I stupidly realized that this is not the first in the series. However, I didn't know that. So you never get the sense that you missed something which was good. I was wanting to know about a story from a secondary character. LOL This story isn't straight mafia, it's not straight romance, it is the perfect intermingle of the both. You have action. You even have laughs as Nate, is a total smart ass. Celia Aaron really gets you into her characters, and you really feel like they are real people. Read this, you won't be sorry. Oh and the first book is called Dark Protector, and I will be reading that. This story is told in dual POV.
