| Legit one of the best books I have read to date. Maddox and Amethyst are life. This book is not just one thing, it's many things, and there is so much going on in the book, there is never ever a dull moment. This book has so many twist and turns, half the time I didn't know which way I was going, and I think that was the intent. This is a "lighter" read of Amo Jones, she is know for some pretty dark and disturbing books. While it's "lighter" there is still darkness to this book. Don't be fooled and think you are off the hook. This book has, lust, envy, love, hate, humor, action, and surprises. This is the sweeping journey of one broken soul meeting the one that can put that soul back together. This was beautifully written and if I could give this book more than 5 stars I would. I think so many people will be surprised by this book, in a good way. This story is told in dual pov. |
