Yours Truly, Cammie was my first read by S.J. Sylvis and I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a quick & easy read about family and falling in love, and I was sucked in from the very first page.
Cammie has one rule in life and that is that she will NEVER get involved with a Marine. She knows all too well the loss and heartache that comes with that life due to having family and friends enlisted. So in order to protect her heart, she plays it safe and refuses to date them. That is until she crosses paths with Lucas Wells while working in the ER as a nurse. He’s handsome, humorous and he also turns out to be her new neighbor. Therefore, she is unable to escape running into him. As they spend more time together, she can’t deny the sparks and connection between them. Will she bend the rules just this once and take a chance on him?
The story-line and the characters in this were so much fun to read. This book made me laugh, smirk, shake my head, swoon and fall in love. I enjoyed every moment of this story and look forward to seeing who this author has me falling in love with next.
