About FIGHTING GRAVITY
Lily:A man dubbed The Playboy of Paris is the last thing I need. I came to Paris needing an ocean and a language between me and my past. I need to learn to live again without fear. Then Tragedy strikes again. I guess some people are just magnets for bad luck. The only silver lining is the gorgeous man who literally broke down a door to save me. Can I trust him? Can I trust myself?
Nathan:
Paris is as much me as I am it. We bleed into each other's veins. Running one of the biggest indie record labels is stressful, and I forget myself with good music and fast women. I never meant to save her. And I damn sure didn't mean to fall in love with her. Not with the secret I'm keeping. Lies, lust, and love happen unexpectedly in The City of Light. Full-length and standalone, with steamy scenes and a HEA

Review:
Fighting Gravity follows the story of Lily and Nathan. At first glance, Nathan appears to be every girls fantasy: Wealthy, Attractive and Confident. He is the owner of a very successful indie record label and known as the Playboy of Paris. He spends his nights getting lost in the music and going through the girls. However there is more to Nathan than meets the eye. Haunted by the pain of his past, he never lets anyone get close to him. He often finds himself at an old theater, which is where all those years ago, his life finally changed for the better. It's where he feels safe and close to his past. Then one night while there, he hears someone screaming for help and busts down the door to save her.
Lily... After enduring a traumatic event in her life, she decides she needs to get away. She is tired of living her life in fear, so she moves to Paris looking for a fresh start. There she moves in with her brother and his fiancee, who have recently started the renovation process on an old theater. Desperate to keep herself from falling apart, she begins helping them by trying to book bands for when it opens. Then one night, she finds herself locked in and fear begins to set in. Pleading for help, she meets Nathan when he comes to her rescue.
This story was very well written and told in dual points of view. I was immediately sucked in from that very first page. From incredible romance and heartbreak to danger and a story-line that will keep your heart racing. I absolutely loved Lily and Nathan's connection. I could tell from the beginning that they were going to be amazing together and I was not disappointed. This is my first read by Julie Adams and I am really looking forward to reading more from this author in the future.
