I’ve lived a pretty normal life for a girl who’s spent the past 8 years at Safe Haven, a shelter for abused women and children.

That’s mostly due to the boys who have become my whole world. Lincoln, his brother Hunter and the twins Travis and Taylor are my best friends, my protectors. They have been since the moment we met in Safe Haven.

It’s not easy being friends with four guys who catch every girls' attention, not when one of those girls is me. I’ve been in love with them for as long as I can remember, but they’ve made it clear on more than one occasion, I’m like a sister to them.

I’ve been content with it just being us for a while, but it's my last year of high school, and I’ve missed out on so much. Parties, girl friends and dating.

If I can’t have them in the way my heart wants, I may as well start having fun right?

Wrong, because they don’t seem to like my new life choices.

But they’re not the same boys I grew up with. Sneaking out at night, disappearing for hours. Keeping secrets.

The closer I look, the more I’m starting to realize that the boys I thought I knew better than anyone else are hiding something from me. Something dark and sinister.

Someone runs our little town of Black Ridge, and I think I just might know who they are.

Review

This is agreat start to what is sure to be a crazy twisted series. The writing as always is superb. The world building and character development is top notch. I cannot wait to see how this all unfolds. Which this isn't the typicaly FMC I like, Raven at times can be a little hard to swallow, but overall I really enjoyed her and the dynamic between the guys. The guys are major alphaholes, and lord they might be a little overbearing, but I can't wait to see how it plays out with Raven.

We are Worthy by Alisha Williams

✨ ๐๐‹๐”๐‘๐ ✨

When an Omega turns 21, he or she is to attend Calling Wood University in search of their packs before their first heat.

Well, you see, I'm not like what society has labeled what Omegas should be. I don't want to play homemaker and submit to a bunch of Alphas. So when I take Calling Wood by storm, I'm quick to show that the typical Alpha packs just won't do.

I'm determined to find my scent match. And refuse to take a pack unless it's who I'm meant to be with. Call me stubborn, but I know what I want.

After meeting almost every unclaimed pack in the school, I start to lose hope. That is, until I catch the scent of something that has me weak in the knees.

Tristan, Finn, Sawyer and Dominic are not like other Alphas. They've given up hope on finding their Omega, making school their whole lives. They don't think they are good enough, worthy enough, to have their happily ever after.

But these sweet nerdy virgin boys aren't going to know what hit them. I love a challenge and I’ve made it my mission to prove they are worthy. That we are worthy.

Review:

A great read. I remember when I read the blurb I couldn't wait to read this book, I just had to have it now. Alpha's who are not typical, big beefy growly alpha's...sign me right up. I wasn't disappointed either. Tristan, Finn, Sawyer, and Dom were perfect in the not so typical way. Then you have Knox who is a beta, but should have been an alpha. This book didn't take itself seriously. When you read it you will understand. I loved that no one was the typical "cookie cutter" omega verse characters.
This book was great, and the book was very character driven versus, major drama plot driven. There was drama, but it wasn't the over the top rip my heart out angst; however it was angst-lite, I would say. The problems were real problems that real people have, not just some characters in a book. This story is told in multiple pov, and it's so worth it. The book does the heavy lifting for you, so if you want a book, you can just sit back and enjoy without your guts tied in knots, this is for you.
