Review:

A fantastic book. The plot is very intriguing and it draws you in. When you don't expect it, BAM, there is a twist. All the while you do tend to have the usual teenage drama. Poppy is problematic in some ways. She does most of the push and pull between her and Zayn. She is needlessly stubborn, and it's like she had a reason to be that stubborn. It was kind of vapid, for the lack of another word. However, this book works. The characters work, the plot works, the crazy stuff that goes down in this book works. It's told in dual pov, and you are really able to get to know the characters as you should.

Review:

What did I just read?!? Holy...shit.(reminder to myself to remove that tidbit for Amazon)But holy smokes y'all, buckle up.The ups and downs, and twist and turns makes most roller coasters look tame. There are so many questions, and yes..it's a cliff hanger, not it is not RH. That's all I saying about the plot. This is straight bully at it's finest. I just wish I had the right words to put forth for my review, cause right now, other than holy shit...I got nothing.
The charcters, yes lets talk characters, we have Blue, and West. They are from opposites sides of the city, and the way people behave you would think they are from different countries. Simply put, West is a giant dbag. I mean, really, a giant one. Blue seems to lose her self respect as the book goes on. That's what dealing with bullies does to someone. I cannot wait for the next book, hopefully there are answers, cause I need them.

The Golden Boys is the first book in the new Kings of Cypress Prep series by Nikki Thorne and Rachel Jonas. Both are new authors to me and after reading this, they are definitely on my radar now. This book right here is bully romance at its best, and I was hooked from the very start.

West Golden aka King Midas is a football star, and the king of his school. A guy that nobody would dare cross. But when he finds dirty pics of the new girl (Blue Riley) in his father's safe, he makes it his mission in life to make her life hell. What he doesn't anticipate though is that the new girl has spunk. She doesn't cower down, and she gives just as good as she gets. It looks like he may have finally met his match. Game on!

Holy smokes! This was one hell of a book and that cliffhanger... Let's just not mention it lol. West and Blue's story was superbly written with a perfectly executed plot. I can't even begin to express just how much I loved it. Five stars and OH. SO. MANY. MORE for West, Blue and The Golden Boys!

Review:

Fallen Heirs is book three in the Windsor Academy series by Laura Lee. Told in dual perspectives, this is the epic conclusion to Jasmine and Kingston's story. I've been waiting with bated breath for this book and boy did it deliver. It was the perfect mix of suspense, angst, twists and turns, witty banter and heaps of heat.

This book was as thrilling as it was sexy and filled to the brim with fast-paced adrenaline pumping scenes. It's unpredictable, unique and twisted in every sense of the word. All of the words in the world can't divulge just how much I loved it! Buckle up book lovers because this series takes you for one hell of a ride. All of the stars and more for Jazz, Kingston and Fallen Heirs!

Loved the end to Jasmine and Kingston’s story. All the twists and turns and all the questions are finally answered. We see the end of this tale but there is more on the horizon in the form of Bentleys story.

The book sees many more questions, there was one that is kind of open ended. So there is that. Over all this has been amazing. I have so enjoyed this series and I cannot recommend it enough. Told in dual POV, don’t pass this series up.

So good! I loved Violet and Thatcher so much, I couldn't wait to read this. Arwen, and Aiden are meant to be together, yet, they are not. This book has so much to offer the reader. The characters leap off the page and become real. It's a world that I fully immersed myself in. Told in dual pov, it really helps set the tone for the book,and doesn't leave you hanging in what the other character is thinking.

Arwen is tough as nails, or is she? I absolutely loved her in the first book in this series, I couldn't wait to read hers. She is naughty, naughty, and I loved it. It took a while for me to warm to Aiden, but it's fine, sometimes it just takes a bit. I think Arwen was so misunderstood, and I am glad we have this book to prove otherwise. Cannot wait for the next book.

 

My pulse races when she begins to walk toward me, her lips spreading into a wicked grin, like a predator stalking down her prey. I turn to my locker, fumbling with the lock as I rush to get it open. By the time I throw my book inside, she’s at my back.
“Violet is with Thatcher now. Which I’m sure you’ve already heard. And he would not appreciate you eyeball fucking her.”
I sigh, slamming my locker as I turn to face her. “She’s not who I was focused on.”
I’m not sure why I’m baiting her again. For years, I was so hurt that I let her say and do whatever without putting up much of a fight. But it feels like something has shifted between us. I noticed that night at Sal’s and again at the benefit. 
Arwen seems thrown by the pushback, her eyes flaring and pink tinting her cheeks. She lets out a hissing breath and leans in, planting her hands on either side of my head. “It sounds like you’re saying the hunger in your stare was for me, but that can’t be right. I know you’re not that stupid.”
My laughter causes her mask to slip again, her features softening with amused curiosity. “It’s not my intelligence in question here, it’s my sanity. You make me fucking crazy, Star.”
She jolts back, standing straight again as her arms fall to her side. “Stop calling me that.” 
Star was the nickname I gave her right after we became friends. Until a couple of weeks ago, I hadn’t called her that since she broke my heart. It wasn’t intentional when I called her Star at Sal’s, but hearing it again definitely had an impact on her. There was a sadness and remorse in her eyes that I’d never seen before. 
“Why?” I challenge. “Does it make you uncomfortable? Do you not like being reminded that we were friends once? That I cared for you?”
“Let it go, Shaw. Move on. It’s never going to happen.”
“No?” I grin, lovingly brushing her hair away from her face. “Your kiss told a different story.” 
Arwen’s eyes darken as a storm brews inside of her, and there’s no shelter in sight. “You clearly misinterpreted the message.” 
“Yeah, you’re right. I probably just need to hear it again.”
She grits her teeth at me when I laugh. “If you want me to make you bleed again, all you have to do is ask.”
