Eighty-One Nights by Georgia Cates

Eighty-One Nights (Beautiful Illusions Duet #1)
by Georgia Cates
Release Date: April 9th

Blurb: Beautiful, penniless American girl meets handsome, wealthy Scotsman.
Sounds like the beginning of a fairy-tale romance?
It’s not.
This story begins with a contract.
And an exchange of money.
A lot of money.
An angel perches nervously on one shoulder.
A devil lounges smugly on my other.
And even that dark little bastard is leery of what I’m doing.
Maxwell Hutcheson wants the girlfriend experience.
All of it.
And I’m going to give it to him.
I’m not supposed to enjoy being his whore.
I’m also not supposed to fall in love with him.
But I do. Both.
When our contract expires, I will walk away.
Because I have to.
But he’ll always have a piece of me.
I’ll mask my sorrow with a smile.
I’ll hide my love with indifference
… all while it’s killing me softly.
A fairy-tale romance.
It isn’t mine to have.
And this man I’ve come to love so dearly isn’t my happily ever after.
About Eighty-One Nights:
While the characters from Eighty-One Nights are entirely new, their storyline is a combination of fresh material and carefully selected themes, scenes, and settings from The Beauty Series, The Sin Trilogy, Dear Agony, and Indulge. This is intentional. I chose some of my favorite elements from previous releases and interjected them into Hutch and Lou’s story. Let’s call it a “story fusion” between our old favorites and new material. This work was briefly released under a pen name and was titled The Girlfriend Experience.

Excerpt: “No one gets to call you a whore.”
“You can.”
He stops eating and looks at me. “I’d never degrade you by calling you a whore.”
“Not a whore. Your whore. There’s a difference.”
I can almost see the wheels turning in Hutch’s head. “You’re my whore?”
“Yes. Only yours.”
“My whore.” He grins. “I don’t think that I’m supposed to like that, but I do.”
“And I don’t think I’m supposed to like being your whore, but I do. Very much.”
He reaches out for my hand and brings it to his mouth, kissing it. “You never cease to amaze me.”
“Dirty talk. Never underestimate the power of it.”

Excerpt: Misleading. The same could be said for me—I may look like a skilled inamorata, but I’m really only an amateur in disguise. And this sexy lingerie is my masquerade.
I brush my hair, detangling the bottom layer that constantly moves against my back and shoulders, and twirl the ends back into loose curls. Lucky me. My hair is actually cooperating tonight.
I smooth the few unruly tresses and think about what tonight is going to be like with Hutch.
Will he be hot and kinky?
Will he be dominating?
Will he only care about his own pleasure?
So many unanswered questions.
My body tingles as I imagine his hands moving all over me. My nipples get hard when I imagine his thumb and index fingers rolling and pinching them. And his tongue licking them. I’m wet and he hasn’t even touched me yet.
Another epiphany.
Tonight isn’t about the money. It isn’t about our arrangement.
I want this man.
You are about to make yourself a true inamorata, Cait. I hope you know what you’re doing because there is no going back after this.

Excerpt: He slides closer and I twist so that I’m facing him. His eyes leave mine, moving lower, and he looks at my mouth. “You have great lips.”
“I like yours too.” They’re so soft and full and framed perfectly by the scruff on his face.
“Do you always wear red lipstick?”
I lick my lips. “I never wear red lipstick.”
He touches his thumb to my bottom lip. “You’re wearing it tonight. And you wore it the other nights that I saw you.” He noticed and remembers.
“Only because I thought that you might like it.”
“I do like it. It’s sexy and it looks beautiful on you.”
“Thank you.”
I lick my lips again and press them together, preparing for the kiss that could be coming.
Come on, Hutch. Kiss me. I want you to.
He leans closer and sucks my bottom lip into his mouth, gently tugging on it. It’s not one of those gross I’m-going-to eat-your-face-off kind of sucks. It’s a sexy kind of suck. The foreplay kind of suck.
His mouth opens, covering mine, and our tongues fall into a rhythmic wave. It’s a seductive swirl of soft, wet velvet and wine. And damn, I think that the wine tastes even sweeter on his tongue.
I push my fingers into the back of his hair, and everything moves faster. Our kiss is no longer slow and sweet. It’s carnal and demanding.
Pulling away, I pant for air, and his eyes connect with mine. “Do you want me to stop?”
This relationship isn’t normal. It has its own set of rules and those don’t include the norm. It’s okay to have sex for fun and not for love. This has nothing to do with my stupid heart.
Placing my hands on each side of his face, I drag my fingertips through his facial scruff.
“Don’t stop.”
An angel on one shoulder, a devil on the other. And even that dark bastard is asking me what the hell I’m doing.
“Are you sure?”
I’m about to cross a line from which I can't return. “I’m sure.”
Hutch places his hands on top of mine and turns his face into my palm, kissing it through a wide smile. “Not here.”
He gets up from the couch and takes my hands, pulling me to stand. With his hands holding mine, I follow him down the hallway to his bedroom.

Excerpt: Brady watches the server’s arse as she walks away. “Tell me what kind of lass that you’re looking for and maybe I can help you find her.”
“I don’t have any particular physical characteristics in mind. I just want to look at her and… feel something.”
“Feel what? A stauner?” Brady can be such a dobber sometimes.
“I can get a hard-on by myself. I’m talking about a connection. I want to be drawn to her.”
“Answer this for me, Max. Do you want to hold her hand or fuck her?”
“I’d like to do both actually.”
Brady twists in his chair. “There are two kinds of Inamorata women—those who fuck and those who don’t. Look around. Some of the women have a pink rosebud pinned to their left shoulder. It’s a symbol meaning that they are willing to fuck and don’t mind being asked to do so. No pink rosebud, no pussy.”
I hadn’t considered that possibility. I guess that I thought they’d all be willing to have sex for money.
“You might want to keep an eye out for a rosebud while you’re looking for this lass that you want to connect with. Because your cock won’t be making any kind of connection with her if she’s not wearing a rosebud.”
I believe that my choices were just narrowed down significantly; many of these women are missing a rosebud.
“Two Tomatins,” the server says as she places our drinks on the table. “Can I bring you anything else?”
“That’s all for now. Thank you.”
Brady holds up his glass. “Here’s to you finally getting out again. And getting shagged.”
“I’ll drink to that.”
We toss back our whiskies and I look around, searching for that special woman who catches my eye. I quickly realize that I’ll never find what I’m looking for by sitting in the dark corner all night. “Come on, let’s do this.”
Brady and I talk to many women over the next two hours and I become discouraged. This gala is my only chance at finding a woman who will be agreeable to my terms, but no one stands out as a contender.
With each passing minute, tonight’s search is looking more and more like a failure. What a fucking disappointment. I was so sure that I was going to find what I was looking for.
“Now here is the woman that you must meet.” Brady takes her hand, kissing the top. “You’re looking lovely as always.”
The woman looks at me and smiles. “Always such a charmer.”
“Max, it’s my pleasure to introduce you to Cora, the beauty and brains behind Inamorata.”
Long blond hair. Brown eyes. Flawless teeth and smile. Perfect cosmetics. She looks midforties, but I’d bet that she’s older and does a great job of pulling off the look of a much younger woman.
“This is my best mate, Maxwell Hutcheson.”
She holds out her hand and I choose to go with a simple handshake, leaving off the kiss. “It’s a pleasure.”
“How very nice it is to meet you, Mr. Hutcheson. I hope that you’re finding everything to your liking this evening.”
“I’m enjoying the gala very much. Thank you for extending an invitation for me through Brady.”
“It was my pleasure, but your arm is empty, Mr. Hutcheson. Have you not found an inamorata to suit your taste?”
I should choose my words wisely; I don’t want to insult this woman. “Brady and I have spoken to many beautiful and interesting women tonight. I’ve found it difficult to choose one.”
“I’d like the opportunity to change that. Would you be willing to tell me what you’re interested in? I’m certain that I can assist you in finding the perfect inamorata for your needs.”
I don’t see the point. Not a single woman in this room stands out to me but if she wants to try, then let her. “I’m looking for a three-month arrangement with a woman who is willing to remain completely innominate to everyone within my world except me.”
“Obscurity is my specialty, Mr. Hutcheson. I have someone in mind, but she’s fresh out of training. Is that something that you’d be open to trying?”
“Actually, inexperienced is preferable.” I want a true girlfriend experience with this woman. It would be a turnoff if her actions were robotic, as though she’s simply going through the motions like so many times before.
“I have the perfect inamorata for you. She’s brand new so you’d be her first client. The girl is beautiful, intelligent, interesting—the whole package. How does that sound to you?”
Sounds like a definite contender if she lives up to what Cora promises. “I’d like to meet her.”
Cora gestures to the back of the room. “Right this way.”

Title: Men of Lovibond Bundle by Georgia Cates

Title: Men of Lovibond Bundle
Author: Georgia Cates
Genre: Standalone Contemporary Romance
Release Date: November 3, 2017

Blurb

Meet Tap, Stout, and Porter. All three Men of Lovibond standalone novels are now available in this single volume.

TAP—
All I wanted from her was a dirty weekend . . . until that wasn’t enough and I longed for so much more.

She’s my business partner’s sister. Forbidden fruit. Pursuing her can mean trouble for me at Lovibond Brewery. But I don’t care.

An epic love.
A miserable ending.
Unless it’s not.

My Review of Tap:
OMG I LOVE this book, I don't think I could say it any louder! First off I read the series out of whack, so there is that.LOL it didn't make a bit of difference though as they are each stand alones. This book is about Tap and Law. I couldn't love two characters more if I tried. These characters were so perfect for each other, and I was in love with Tap from the get go. Law was a firecracker, and she was hippy dippy and I loved her so much. The characters are well developed, the dialogue is on point. Do yourself a favor and get yourself this book.

STOUT—
Adelyn Maxwell is my neighbor but she’s no girl next door. The more I come to know her, the more I discover she’s a good girl with a lovely dark side. And maybe I don’t want her to stay on her side of the fence.

These twists and turns of fate will become one of two things: a wrecking ball to tear us apart or the connection to bond us together forever.

My Review of Stout:
This was a great book with great characters. For me it fell just a little short, it didn't have that same zip the first book had. However as will all Georgia Cates books, it was awesome with great dialogue that kept you reading. Told in dual pov.

PORTER—
Frankee Dawson is no longer that girl I once called Kiddo. She’s grown into a beautiful, sexy, desirable woman. Very desirable. And that’s a problem. She’s my employee’s daughter. Lovibond family. And too young for me. Too innocent.

This was supposed to be a hot summer fling. Sex and fun without commitment. That’s what we called it. But we were wrong. This is more.

There are a million reasons for her to leave me. And trust me, she should. But all I really need is one good reason for her to stay.

My Review of Porter:

Loved this book, loved everything about it. Porter and Frankee have quite the age gap, and I love it. These two characters mesh well, even when they shouldn't. Frankee gets hired by Porter as a graphic design/marketing intern, and didn't look back. This is the third and final installment of the Lovibond series, and I have only read this one. It can be read as a total stand alone and I don't feel like I missed anything by reading this one first. This book has a little bit of everything. Sex, love, crazy, funny, and all around good reading. Told in alternating views.

Excerpt

Kieran Hendry makes me feel like a woman. A desired woman. His words, the way he looks at me, his body language. Everything he does is a huge turn-on. Yet I hate this man. Loathe him. But damn, he has a way of touching me that makes me forget every logical thought in my head. It doesn’t make sense to me how I can despise him and at the same time respond so strongly to his touch.
It’s my body reacting to him, not my head. It must be hormones and sex drive. Those two things combined have the power to make people do things they wouldn’t normally do.
“You’re trembling.” He grazes the back of his fingers down my cheek and my stomach does some kind of flip. “Do I frighten you?”
I look away because I can’t tell him that it isn’t fear giving me the trembles.
He grasps my chin and forces me to look at him. “Do. I. Frighten. You?”
“No.”
He rubs my bottom lip with his thumb. “Then what is it?”
I shake my head.
He leans in for another kiss but stops before his lips touch mine. We’re so close I can feel his breath on my mouth. Just like last night when my body turned to mush.
I’m quivering and my breath has become more rapid. I may even be a little lightheaded.
His bottom lip grazes mine, but he still doesn’t kiss me. “I’ll back off right now if it’s what you want.”
I don’t want him to back off. I also don’t want him to know that I don’t want him to back off. Feels too much like giving in to something I’m not supposed to crave.
“I’m going to kiss you.”
I’m his captive. We made an agreement. I must submit without a fight per our deal to maintain Ellison’s safety.
Yeah. Keep telling yourself that, Wes. Maybe if you say it enough, you’ll start to believe it.
His fingers lace through my hair and he holds me prisoner when he lowers his mouth to mine. I open, giving his tongue an invitation to come inside. The two meet, and together they become erotic dance partners with Kieran taking the lead.
I’ve only had one very forgettable kiss in my life. But this kiss… I could live a million years and never forget it or the way I feel right now.
He stops, his lips hovering over mine. His breath warm against my skin. “More or stop? Your decision.”
He’s asking me to venture further with him. My body says yes, but my head tells me that one more step will take me to a place I shouldn’t go with this man. I’m twenty-three and being kissed for the second time in my life. I don’t want this to stop. “More.”
