Review:

Great book, the characters are all so strongly written. These characters all have past trauma, that has forged who they are now. For sure lots of secrets, and lies tied to these pasts. The characters continue to develop through the whole book,and talk about twists. Man, I need the next book like I need air to breathe. Well written, and very well developed, this NA why choose is a sure fire read.

Review:

The premise for this book is good, it's there, but I am so not a fan of this type of FMC, and I am not going to go into too deep detail because I feel it will give away a lot of the book. River is the FMC and she just seems to me to be very brash, abrasive, and I don't know, I just didn't feel the chemistry. This was very insta love, and I don't really care for that. Yes, she knew them as kids, but you will have to read it to see what I am talking about.

Just because that isn't my thing doesn't mean squat, I know there are readers for every type of book, and if you like the insta love, angstfest, then this could be for you. Like I said the premise is there, the world building is there, it's just the characters I didn't vibe with. The book is well written, don't get me wrong, but this wasn't my thing. Over all I would say if you like insta love, rocker, anger, love, hate, sexy times, then this is for sure for you. Don't let my review be the end all to be all.

Review:

What a great second half of this duet. The angst is still strong in this book just like the first one. These 4 mixed up people are trying to travel a path that they do not know. So much confusion on their parts. So much what ifs. I didn't find this book as angsty as the first one that is for sure, that was was like level 100, this one is like level 75. The characters though continue to develop and find themselves. They don't just fine themselves, they find each other, and make each other complete. There is of course some strife along the way. All in all a very enjoyable read.

Review:

Here it is almost 4am and just finished this book. I kind of thought I knew what to expect with this book, and holy moly was I wrong. I highly suggest just blind reading this book, because yeah. The characters in this book are all young adults with Mia being the youngest at 18.
The story lines, the weaving of lives that take place in this book is beautiful. Heart breaking, but beautiful. The main source of this is Ashton, and I wouldn’t even say he is the main character, cause honestly, there are 4 of them, but Ashton is the main catalyst for more of the shenanigans that flies around this book.
The story is told is multiple POV, and the authors have a very good grasp of their characters. This was obviously a well thought out and planned book because it was flawless. As I read this book it played like a movie in my head, and I could see it clearly. This is part 1 of a duet, so there is a cliff hanger, but the second half follows pretty quickly. Do yourself a favor and read this.
