Review:

Holy moly what a way to end a trilogy. This book wraps up one of the best trilogies I have ever read and that says something, because I read a lot. The story line, the plot development, the twists and turns as well as the amazing characters just made me love this all the more. I was so intrigued by this story that I hated to put it down to do anything. It’s so thought provoking, and well plotted out. Told in multiple pov this tells the tale of a queen and her men, and it did not disappoint. Do yourself a favor and read the whole trilogy soon as you can, you won’t be sorry.

What a doozy. This book starts right where the first left off and I didn’t want to put it down. There was no lull in this book and it was giving so many twists. I felt so bad for all the characters even Atticus and he didn’t deserve it.lol The world building and characters are just perfection. Ms. June knows how to serve us our stories and make them so in depth, and there is literally never a dull moment. This book ends on an obvious cliff hanger, but the last one is out soon, so you won’t have to wait long. I am dying to see how the author is going to give them a happily ever after cause right now…yeah I don’t see it.

Holy royal intrigue. What a good book this is. It's chock full of twists, turns and surprises. Ms. June always demonstrates her knowledge of how to bring her readers to their knees. The wonderful world building and fantastic characters pull you in, and the plot keeps you coming back for more. Christine, August, Leo, and Atticus are by far the most complicated dynamic I have read, and it's more that just a simple reverse harem, or a why choose. There is way more than just simply falling into bed together, and being one big happy family.
There are layers upon layers in this book, and when you think you know which way is up, you get hit again with another twist. The delightful by play of the characters is another thing that keeps you on your toes. The chemistry of these characters is off the charts, but make no mistake, they are extremly complicated. Told in multiple pov, I can think of no reason you should not pick this up and devour it like I did.

Review:

Well I can say this without a doubt, there is nothing Coralee June cannot write. This book was so good, it got me away from my normal RH genre. Coralee June could write the phone book and I would read it cover to cover. This book is stunning, the world build, *chefs kiss* perfection. I love paranormal, because anything goes. The author can create the world how they want, and then show it to the reader and lay it out there. The imagery in the book, it's like being right there in it.
I tend to see everything as a movie in my head when I read, and if you have an author that skips details, well, the movie just sucks. This one however is stunning, and the characters are perfect, Delilah is a whole mood, Theo is yummy, and Halle, is brave. At first I kinda wanted to throat punch Halle, I thought she was a petulant brat, but that quickly went away and she is amazing. I realize there is a reason for her to be that way, and she realized quickly she was meant for more. This is told in dual pov, and ends on the mother of all cliffhangers, that being said, DO NOT wait to read this, I promise the next book is coming soon, and I for one cannot wait.

“You want a goodbye, Hamilton?” I asked as the pain in my chest cracked and all the disappointment flowed out with a vengeance. What even was the truth anymore? Did he care about me? Did he think I wasn’t worth the effort?

He clenched his teeth, the move making his defined jaw harden into a sharp line. “I want a goodbye, Petal.” My heart cracked. I felt cheap. Used. I was done. Done with all of it. The writing is amazing and beautiful, and ugh, just so damn good. I enjoyed being immersed in this world, and seeing this story develop.

Hamilton is the man to beat. Holy..what a pervy, dirty, hot sexy man. Lord if only I could find one like him. Yes there is more to the story, it's amazing as are the characters. Hamilton and Vera shouldn't work, but they do. This is an age gap romance, but it's not gross. They are both still young enough(but both adults) that is works. Vera, she is wound tight as all get out, and Hamilton...isn't. I love everything this author puts out, and this is no exception. The characters are wonderful, some more than others, some a pretty vile, not naming names.
The world in which is this is set is actually pretty intense when you throw in some certain elements. I am not one to rehash plots, you can read the synopsis, but this book is bar none. I was so happy to read it, and so freaking invested in how this was going to turn out. There are twists and turns, and you know, nothing is ever a straight forward shot at life and love. Told in dual pov. Do yourself a favor and pick this bad boy(pun totally intended)up.
