Review:

Destroyed Destiny is the epic conclusion of Story Hale and Grayson Crowne's story. Just as Stolen Soulmate and Forbidden Fate did before, this book absolutely wrecked me. It made my heart ache and my tears flow as I went on this highly emotional journey with them. Folks, this book is next level good. Seriously, it kept me hooked and on the edge the whole way through. I am breathless, so emotional and so wowed. This book is a guaranteed book hangover read. SO. FLIPPING. GOOD!


  About the Author:

I started writing the moment I could read. My first characters were Wibbley and Squig and I used MS Word and clipart to bring them to life when I was a kid in elementary school. I started seriously thinking about being a writer in High School and I remember the day exactly, because it was such an epiphany. I was always so uncertain. You know how everyone was always asking what you wanted to be when you were older? Well I NEVER could decide. I wanted to be a marine biologist. An actor. A FIRE FIGHTER (thank you Joaquin Phoenix in Ladder 49 for that phase). One day it hit me—A WRITER. I could do it ALL. Then you couldn’t stop me from writing. I penned my first novel at fifteen (but don’t ask me to show it to you, because it’s like I was in competition to beat the thesaurus). When I was diagnosed with a chronic illness, writing became even more important, because it became my therapy. When I wrote my characters, suddenly I wasn’t so alone. These days you can find me daydreaming about where to travel with my husband, singing in my car, or lost in the newest K drama. And planning my next novel, of course.

"If our fate is forbidden, then I'll live as a fugitive."

Oh my poor heart! Just as Stolen Soulmate did before, this book put my heart through the ringer. Forbidden Fate is one of the most powerful, heartfelt and gripping romances that I've had the pleasure of reading. Every word, every sentence, every page, completely owned me. It wasn't just phenomenal. It was everything!

Grayson has become the master of breaking promises, and Story has had enough. She decides to take matters into her own hands, only to end up on the arm of another cruel prince. One that she cannot stand, but one that offers her a way out. A chance to start over, away from Crown Hall and from Grayson himself. Grayson may still own her heart, but she refuses to continue to stay and watch him with another. It's just too hard. Only fate seems to have other plans for her.
I have to say this author's writing is articulate and remarkable. Every single one of her words has such feeling and depth to them. This story flowed beautifully, with romance, angst and enough suspense that it was a satisfying read. I felt myself never wanting it to end. This forbidden romance is an absolute must read, but please be sure to read Stolen Soulmate first. Five stars for Grayson, Story and Forbidden Fate!

Jesus. I have no words. Nothing that can adequately describe how my poor heart feels. I felt everything these characters were feeling. My heart raced, my chest ached, and my eyes cried big ugly tears. This book is every angst lover's dream. It had me hooked from the start and still hasn't let me go. The thoughts and feelings, it's so much, too much. I am completely and utterly wrecked.

Gray is one of those heroes that I hated as much as I loved. He was complex, callous and cold. But underneath that cruel faรงade was a decent and selfless man. One who always put his family first. And Story? I loved her. She was strong, brave and resilient. She was so full of heart and truly his perfect match. But their relationship is put to the test when he must follow through with his familial obligations.
Stolen Soulmate has it all, steamy hot moments, angsty goodness, a sexy alphahole, a strong heroine and a flipping unique and terrific plot. There was never a dull moment. I was completely captivated the whole way through. Gebhard has a way of building these imaginary worlds that just suck you in. You can picture everything so clearly, it's like living in the book. This story is the best. I absolutely loved it and hope that you give it a chance. 5 stars and more for Gray, Story and Stolen Soulmate!

Jesus. I have taken all day to think about how I feel about this book, but ya know, I just can't. There was snot bubbles involved in reading this. My heart and head hurt so bad. Talk about heartless hero, dude is a straight up asshole douchecanoe. Why do people love when the hero is such an asshole? I dunno but this author made me love him. I really, really hated him for a good part of the book, but something just clicked, but that thin line of love and hate is very thin indeed.


The setting for this book is lavish, at first it took me a little time to get used to it, I would honestly liken it to the setting of The Great Gatsby. It's not set in that era, but that is the vibe I get. The author gets to the meat of the book and by then you are so invested all you can do is flip the pages even though it seems like most of the people in this book are just a bunch of privileged entitled asswipes. Take it from me, this is a must read, the emotions the struggle, the loathing, the hate, the love, it will leave you blown away and I can't wait for more.
