I started writing the moment I could read. My first characters were Wibbley and Squig and I used MS Word and clipart to bring them to life when I was a kid in elementary school. I started seriously thinking about being a writer in High School and I remember the day exactly, because it was such an epiphany. I was always so uncertain. You know how everyone was always asking what you wanted to be when you were older? Well I NEVER could decide. I wanted to be a marine biologist. An actor. GAH! I absolutely loved this story! It was highly entertaining with the perfect mix of steam, angst and drama. The characters were well portrayed with enjoyable dialogue. The writing was top-notch and engaging. I was hooked from the very first page, lost in the world of the Rogue Football Academy.

The Second Coming follows the story of Jude Davies who is a football legend in the making. He is the academy's golden boy who is sexy, loaded, charming and a bit reckless. He and his band of buddies seem to stir up trouble wherever they go. Then everything changes the day he meets her. 

Aria is beautiful, compassionate, independent and so different from all of the other girls. Not only is she good for Jude's image, but he just can't seem to stay away. The only problem? She's got a lot on her plate and distractions like him are out of the question. Will he be able to wear her down? 

They say that opposites attract and let me tell you, these two couldn't be any more different. I absolutely loved them. They were the perfect pair with scorching hot chemistry and playful banter. The dynamic between them was wonderfully done and the sexual tension so palpable from the start.

Overall, The Second Coming was a quick, easy and enjoyable read. A great start to this new series by the immensely talented Carrie Aarons. Now having read this, I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next because I. NEED. MORE!
