Review:

Okay I couldn't love this story more if I tried. Took me a few days to get through the story, not because it was awful, but because I didn't want it to end. Such a good conclusion, I was hooked from the word go. I have enjoyed watching these characters grow, form relationships, grow as people and lovers, and friends. I have enjoyed the world that was built for KC and her crew, and I have enjoyed he character development. The story is fantastic, I love the edge of mystery that is threaded through the story, and I want more. The story is told in multiple pov, and I for one cannot recommend the series enough.

The Abbot House has been cursed and abandoned for twenty-three years. Until now.

Her lack of magical abilities has always made her feel like an outsider among other witches, and that feeling only solidifies when her fellow witches begin hazing her at her new school.

Things improve when Harriet befriends a group of amateur ghost hunters. Owen, Spencer, Nolan, and Mattie are some of the first people to ever accept Harriet for who she really is. But when they decide to investigate the deaths of two ghosts who constantly follow Harriet around, they accidentally uncover much darker and more dangerous secrets than they ever anticipated.

Review:

I love, love, loved this book. It was so good, the plot, the characters, it was all so great. The world that the author built is one of mystery, but light mystery, think, scooby doo gang, which says a lot, because I am a huge schooby fan. Anyways, this story starts out great, and just keeps swinging. At first Harriett is a tad bit surly, but once you get to reading you quickly realize, there is a reason behind it.

The characters mesh well, and I love that it's a younger crowd and this author seems to know how to write them well so it's just just straight sexy times all the time, matter of fact other than a tiny make out session, there was none of that. That's perfect. I know as the story continues, and the characters age, and evolve things will change, but for now, it was perfection. It's told mostly in Harriet's POV, but they guys are thrown in there as well.

Born into Hollywood royalty, I've been making the hot sheet and generating internet buzz since before I could even walk. Doesn't matter that my parents divorced prior to my second birthday, I can't escape the shadows—or scandals—of my movie star mother and my rock star father.

My Review:

Let me preface this with saying now I know why there is a Ihateheather group on Fb okay. I am joining the club. This book was awesome! I knew it would be awesome, but holy cow, really? ugh, I cannot deal with having to wait for more. I will say that the characters are awesome, and so well developed. The players in this book are something else. and while there is some bullying, it's really not bad, and it fits the narrative of the story well. We can't have K.C. just skate by can we? The world building is great, and I can see everything like a movie in my head, and I felt what the characters were feeling. While there is some angst, it's more like angst lite. This is very character driven, and told all in K.C.'s pov, the author did say in the future the book would be multiple pov. Either way, I think she did right and this book wouldn't have been as good had it not all come from K.C. There would have been too much given away. The ending is a doozy of a cliffhanger and I cannot wait until I read more.
