Born into Hollywood royalty, I've been making the hot sheet and generating internet buzz since before I could even walk. Doesn't matter that my parents divorced prior to my second birthday, I can't escape the shadows—or scandals—of my movie star mother and my rock star father.

 

At least, I couldn't until Aubrey, Yvette and I formed Torched and went double platinum as we made a name for ourselves. Four years after taking the world by storm, I'm exhausted. We all are. I'm also ready to try and be a regular kid. Only problem is I've never been normal. I don't actually know what that feels like. Accepted into the prestigious Blue Ivy Prep, I have a lot to prove to the students, the faculty, our fans, but most of all to myself.

 

Despite my tabloid reputation or maybe because of it, I don't intend for anything to get in my way. Especially not anyone who decided I'm an empty-headed pampered partying princess before I even showed up. If they want a fight, I'll bring them a war.

My Review:

Let me preface this with saying now I know why there is a Ihateheather group on Fb okay. I am joining the club. This book was awesome! I knew it would be awesome, but holy cow, really? ugh, I cannot deal with having to wait for more. I will say that the characters are awesome, and so well developed. The players in this book are something else. and while there is some bullying, it's really not bad, and it fits the narrative of the story well. We can't have K.C. just skate by can we? The world building is great, and I can see everything like a movie in my head, and I felt what the characters were feeling. While there is some angst, it's more like angst lite. This is very character driven, and told all in K.C.'s pov, the author did say in the future the book would be multiple pov. Either way, I think she did right and this book wouldn't have been as good had it not all come from K.C. There would have been too much given away. The ending is a doozy of a cliffhanger and I cannot wait until I read more.
