Review

I have enjoyed this trilogy so much. Izzy, is a great character and I have enjoyed watching her grow and develop as a person along with her mates. Is she snarky, oh yeah, is she powerful, oh yeah, is she floundering? double yes. The build up to the finale was lengthy, and it wasn't the best story climax, but it wasn't trash either. I really enjoyed the story, and the characters were top tier. Its told in multiple pov, and I would love to read more in this world, hands down anyday, this has been a favorite world for me.

My Review:

Yes yes yes. I am loving this story so much! Leighton and her guys have been put through the wringer. I love these characters so much! The dynamic is so strong, as is the relationship that they all have with each other. The plot continues to evolve and the characters do too.
I feel like the author really enjoys writing paranormal as it’s so easy to make things twist your way, not like a contemporary, where you have stricter lines to stay within. MS. Hale has another winner on her hands, as she winds a tale that makes you sit up and notice.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I absolutely love this book, this duet has been one of my favorite to read to date. The plot is something I had never read before, so I was here for it. The world building, the plot, the pace were all perfection. The was action, and lust, tears, fears, hate, and so much more wrapped up in these pages. The chemistry between the characters leaps off the page at you. I love that the men in this book have relationships with each other, when they came together they had no idea the other existed except 2. I don't mean that in a sexy times way either. Six is an amazing character, strong, yet weak at the same time. It's not easy to write, and do it well. Told in multiple pov, this book will have you clutching the edge of your seat.

I guess the upside is having sex with me hasn’t sent any of these smexy troublemakers to the hospital... yet... If only my dad would stop trying to scare them off with his unwelcome deliveries of baby clothes.

Frackin’ fudge fluffers...

This was a great book, wow. This book has something for everyone, literally everyone. there are mystical creatures, such as, vampires, werewolves, demons and the like. So if one doesn't trip your trigger, the others just might. There is tons of humor, but also some suspense added in. The characters are all so fleshed out, and very thoroughly thought out. Each totally different from the next. Don't get me started on Elora. She is fantastic, she is open about who she is as a woman, and doesn't care what anyone thinks.
As a reverse harem, this book is awesome, I haven't rarely found any that I didn't like in one way or another. The world, being that it's fantasy, can be anything the author wants, and I love that so much, it's not based in reality, and that can be so exciting, like this book. As I stated before there was so much to offer, that really it's hard to find a down side at all, as far as story goes. Told in multiple pov, give this one a go. 

Lissa Lynn Thomas writes flawed individuals living in stories that mix humor with the darker side of life and love. With Helena Novak, she's one half of A.L. Shea.

  About the Author: 

I started writing the moment I could read. My first characters were Wibbley and Squig and I used MS Word and clipart to bring them to life when I was a kid in elementary school. I started seriously thinking about being a writer in High School and I remember the day exactly, because it was such an epiphany. I was always so uncertain. You know how everyone was always asking what you wanted to be when you were older? Well I NEVER could decide. I wanted to be a marine biologist. An actor. A FIRE FIGHTER (thank you Joaquin Phoenix in Ladder 49 for that phase). One day it hit me—A WRITER. I could do it ALL. Then you couldn’t stop me from writing. I penned my first novel at fifteen (but don’t ask me to show it to you, because it’s like I was in competition to beat the thesaurus). When I was diagnosed with a chronic illness, writing became even more important, because it became my therapy. When I wrote my characters, suddenly I wasn’t so alone. These days you can find me daydreaming about where to travel with my husband, singing in my car, or lost in the newest K drama. And planning my next novel, of course.
