Review:

I don't think I will ever be the same after reading this. This series is one that just hangs on to you and wont let go. The emotions run amok in the reader. I am so glad that the author decided to do this book, it really fleshed out the ending of the last book for me. The absolute angst, and pain, the hate, rage, lust, and love wrapped in a tight ball, then explodes when you least expect it.
This book was nothing short of phenomenal. The characters, the plot, the feels. All of it, so beautifully done, that I cannot help but wish this to go on forever. These are my characters, this is my series, these are my books, and I have the worse book hangover ever, and I really don't care. Told in dual pov, this book is everything.

Looking back, I’m convinced I willed my story into existence due to my illness.

And all were punished.⁣⁣

Review:

Lord I don’t even know where to start. This book with mess with you, it will tease you, make you want more and then just when you think you are getting it, nope. This is a beautifully written suspense filled joy ride through sexy times.

The twists and turns the author takes you on are vast, and they are so vague you have no idea what is going to happen. If you are one of those people that are always figuring twists out in books or movies, ya ain’t gonna get this one. Not by a long shot, so buckle up buttercup.

The characters are intense from the word go. In their actions, words, and feelings. While at times Cecelia can be a typical girl(silly her) she really is anything but. Gahhh I wish I could say more but if I am being real, I don’t know what just hit me. I feel like this book is going to stick with me for a long time. It is a duet and the second book comes out August 6th. Told in first person POV.

I loved this book, I have really enjoyed this story line. I totally see Troy in a new light, and I was so curious about him, and how his story would turn out. I love the world that Kate built around her characters. There is such depth to them, and such a richness that you can't help but see you are part of the story.

A Texas native, Kate Stewart lives in North Carolina with her husband, Nick, and her naughty beagle, Sadie. She pens messy, sexy, angst-filled contemporary romance as well as romantic comedy and erotic suspense because it's what she loves as a reader. Kate is a lover of all things '80s and '90s, especially John Hughes films and rap. She dabbles a little in photography, can knit a simple stitch scarf for necessity, and on occasion, does very well at whiskey.
