Review:
Sweet baby jeebus, this book took it out of me, in the best way possible. I knew I was heading down the path of needing tissues, what I didn't know was that I would have to stop at the store and get more. This book is everything. Seriously, if you want angst, and love and lust, and wonderment(pretty sure that is a word...just go with it). This book will rip your heart out, stomp on it, and just when you think you are going to be okay BAM. You get knocked out again, and you are left if anything will be left right in the world.
The pacing was fantastic, the characters more so. The chemistry is off the charts, and the books is so true to life, and real, it's like you are a part of the book. There are times I wanted to slap the taste right out of Gabby's mouth, she was being a total martyr and I wanted to punch her in the teeth, but she did win me over.
I would have liked Slater to be a tad bit more alpha, there were parts where I was wondering where his man parts where, but I do love him, so we will let that slide. Only thing that would have made this book better is if we heard MORE of Slaters POV, most of the book is all Gabby. Take it for what you will, but this is a must read book.
