Review:
This was a fantastic book. It was long, it was in depth, and it ends on a cliffhanger. The cliffhanger I HATE, however, it doesn't detract from the book. The characters are so well developed, and this isn't a run of the mill YA book either. It's a mature YA, there is cussing, drugs, and sex, but there is so much more here as well. There are secrets, lies, lust, greed, love, caring, fear, and so so much more.There was never a dull moment in this book.
Raven has to be one of the best characters I have ever read, not just in a YA, but period. She is strong, she knows what she is about, she isn't weak, but she isn't such a ballbuster it makes you dislike her. Maddoc, Captain and Royce are a great mix for her, they all have their personality traits and that highlighted by Raven, and it's an awesome mix. Do yourself a favor and read this. The next book should be coming fairly soon, so it won't crush you too bad. It's told in dual pov.
