How to Date a Douchebag: The Lying Hours by Sara Ney

ABRAHAM DAVIS—Honest Abe to his friends—IS IN OVER HIS HEAD...

He’s a fixer and a do good-er. The all-knowing, resident "grandfather" on the wrestling team who everyone relies on to fix their problems. His teammates go to him for everything; advice, homework, or when they need a sober driver at three in the morning--whether he likes it or not.

Abe’s current mission is easy: mend his roommates broken heart by helping him find a girlfriend on the LoveU app--without getting caught in the lie...

SKYLAR GABRIEL. IS. OVER. IT.

Over her bad grades. Over her meddling older brother and his two best friends. And over dating douchebags. What she wants to know is: where have all the nice guys gone?

She longs for a handsome, sweet, and honest guy who can make her laugh. In one last ditch effort to prove that he exists—Skylar turns to LoveU.

On her worst day, Skylar has no filter (it’s a miracle she hasn’t been ditched mid-date).
On her best, she’s as wholesome, and sweet, as pie.
On Thursday? She matches with Abraham Davis’s roommate.

Skylar Gabriel is falling for the wrong guy—she just doesn’t realize it yet.

Why?

BECAUSE ABE DAVIS IS A LIAR.

Reviews:
Oh my gosh you guys! This book right here is pure gold! When a Sara Ney book drops on my kindle, I feel like a kid on Christmas morning. All smiles and complete joy! Her stories are all-consuming, and everything else is quickly put on the back burner. This book was such a light and sweet romance with amazing chemistry and laugh out loud banter. Absolute perfection my friends!

Tired of seeing his roommate heartbroken, Abe starts swiping and chatting up girls on LoveU, the University's dating app. Helping out his friend is an easy task until he meets his match in the lovely Skylar Gabriel. She is beautiful, laid-back, funny and seemingly perfect for him. How the heck is he supposed to let her go? Then when she finds out that everything is based on a lie... Will he lose out on the chance to be with the girl of his dreams?

In all, I absolutely loved The Lying Hours! Once again, Sara Ney has masterfully written a story that will have you rolling with fits of laughter one moment and swooning hard the next. Abe and Skylar were both so awkward, but funny, charming and sexy as well. The characters were so endearing and I fell head over heels in love. And getting to see Zeke again... *dreamy sigh* Readers, you need this book in your life. When this goes live, make sure to one-click immediately. I can promise you, it's worth every penny you spend.

Great book, I loved the characters, sort of the second wave of douchebags. Such a fun story. Starts out a little slow, but picks up steam and doesn't stop. The dialogue had me laughing so hard, because I can hear myself say some of the crap the characters did.LOL One thing Sara Ney doesn't lack is a vivid vocabulary, and it's fantastic.
The by play between some secondary characters on a double date had my laughing so hard I had to put down my kindle. A true treat if you are looking fo a fun loving yet sexy times college romance, this will for sure please you. It's told in dual pov(my favorite way to read a book).
