Reviews
Gah! I absolutely love a good sports romance and with Tijan being one of my favorite authors, I couldn't wait to dive in to this one. And let me tell you... it DID NOT disappoint. Stone Reeves just became my new all-time favorite book boyfriend. He and Dusty made the absolute perfect couple. Stone is a sexy AF football god, and Dusty is a feisty and confident heroine who brings him to his knees.
Dusty has had a rough go at life. She lost her best friend in sixth grade. The two of them were thick as thieves until one day Dusty was no longer cool enough to hang out with. Then she lost her mom to an awful disease during her senior year in high school. Tired of all of the heartache and pain, she heads to Texas to start anew. But little did she know, he was there as well.
Stone is a famous wide receiver, and one of the greatest the football world has seen. Not only does he have the fame, but he is popular and wealthy as well. All of his dreams had come true, supportive parents, a pro football career and a big house to boot. But never did he expect to cross paths with her again, the girl he left behind in the sixth grade. Boy was he wrong.
The chemistry between these two absolutely sizzled. I loved the push and pull, the banter, the love/hate relationship, and the hot as hell sex scenes. Dusty and Stone were FIRE, and I just could not get enough. Tijan really packed a punch in this one, the angst, the drama, the laughter and the tears. Not to mention, all of the swoony moments that had my heart pounding. Their story really grabbed me by the heart and never let go.
Enemies was a heart-tugging, heat-filled, enemies-to-lovers, new adult sports romance. Dusty and Stone's hard-earned happily-ever-after was all the more rewarding for the struggles they had endured. I absolutely loved this intensely emotional and passionate story, and I have no doubt, that you will too. It's wonderfully written, highly addictive and completely unputdownable. I cannot recommend this one enough. Please do yourself a favor and READ THIS BOOK!

Holy angst! This book gives all the angst, all the feels, and throws in a tiny bit of humor. This book is amazing. I enjoyed the characters, and the world that was created, it was so real, I felt a part of it. I am not rehashing the plot as, you can read the synopsis. You can tell the author knew what she was talking about with the football scenes, or she researched it thoroughly, it made it way more enjoyable and real. This is told is dual pov.
