What is the Bastard Bachelor Society?
It’s a gentleman’s club—like the dignified men of the past used to have.
Except, we’re not gentleman, and we’re not dignified.
We’re ineligible bachelors; bored, jaded and not looking for relationships. Quite the opposite actually…
We’re so committed to being single, we’ve created a high stakes bet to see who can remain single the longest. Rules are involved. Prizes.
Laugh it up, but I’m no loser.
Enemy number one to my single status? My irresistible neighbor, Abbott Margolis. She with her evil cat Desdemona, and Sexy AF pencil skirts. She’s kind and beautiful and hilarious. We can’t get involved, no matter how much her meddling grandmother pushes us together. But if I was going to lose this bet for anyone? It would for Abbott.
Let’s face facts: I’m a bastard, unwilling to settle down.
Especially when there’s a bet to win.

Reviews:
Bastard Bachelor Society is the start to Sara Ney's hilarious and fun new series. And let me tell you... it started off with a bang and never let up. She never fails to entertain me with her sweet, light-hearted, quirky and laugh out loud stories. This one introduces up to Brooks and Abbott, two neighbors that I simply could not get enough of.
Brooks and his friends are at The Basement drinking one night when they decide to form their own secret society. A time for them to wear stylish velvet jackets, socialize, drink booze and smoke cigars. The number one rule... No relationships allowed. In fact, they decide to make a wager on it, and Brooks thinks he has it in the bag. But unfortunately for him, he doesn't stand a chance once he meets her.
Abbott is a smart, sassy and successful young ad executive who loves Britain and all things vintage. After an awkward and hilarious run-in with her handsome new neighbor, the two quickly become fast friends. Their friendship was filled with flirty banter, lots of spark and also introduced us to some completely endearing characters... the busybody nan, an evil cat Desdemona and a great group of hilarious best friends.
Bastard Bachelor Society was a delightful, funny and swoon worthy read that drew me in from the very first page. It was simply and utterly unputdownable, and I devoured it in a day. I loved Brooks and Abbott and everything about their sweet and perfectly matched pairing. Five stars for Brooks, Abbott and Sara Ney.

Having loved all of Sara Ney’s previous books, I took a step back. This is adults not Ya or Na. So once I got it together, I really enjoyed this book. The characters are quirky, the chemistry is off the charts. Told in dual POV, this book has a little of everything you are looking for in a Sara Ney book.
