Hearts and Thorns is an angsty YA romance that gave me all the feels, and I wholeheartedly loved it. Ella Fields is the master at drawing every single emotion out of you with the stories she delivers. Without fail, she obliterates my poor heart every time and then somehow makes it whole again. And she really knocked it out of the park with this one. I'm talking some serious teenage angst perfection right here. It was absolutely delicious and addicting!
Since childhood, Willa and Jackson Thorn have not only been step siblings but best friends as well. They shared a special bond and were practically inseparable. But over the years, their friendship began to shift as romantic feelings developed. Then one kiss... One single moment changed their lives forever.
These two were the perfect pair. I loved their playful banter, their ease with one another, and when they touched, it was absolutely electric. But then the inevitable happened and their secret was revealed. Their plan was destroyed and the two were ultimately forced to part. But after some time and distance, their paths crossed once again. This book was absolutely amazing! Ella Fields held nothing back when she wrote Heart and Thorns. It was a rollercoaster ride full of angst, drama, jealousy, lies and betrayal. Oh my poor heart! This is in fact my new favorite Ella Fields book to date! All the stars and more for Willa and Jackson's heartbreakingly beautiful love story!
