The Trouble with Gravity is a fantastic read and hands down, my favorite in the Gravity series. It has everything we love in a K.K. Allen book, but taken up a notch. She delivers an angsty, slow burn, enemies-to-lovers romance that leaves you craving more. This beautifully written and well developed story was touching, sweet, sexy and held me captivated from start to finish.
Kai's backstory is heartbreaking and raw. My heart still hurts for her. Having to endure such a traumatic event would be difficult at any age, but as a child it is even more devastating. To have your world ripped apart like that is just so annihilating. But she is strong, resilient and her drive to overcome her fears was absolutely admirable. And Sebastian? He is sexy as sin but a bit of an arrogant jerk. He too is scarred by his past, hence his ill-tempered persona, but deep down he has a heart of gold.
The relationship between these two got off to a rocky start, but it finally reached a turning point when they connected over their fears. Together they were able to face their demons and heal from these past wounds. And the chemistry? SIZZLING HOT! The two of them were absolutely electric. I enjoyed their heated moments just as much as I did the sweet and supportive ones. The only way to describe their love story is EPIC! K.K. Allen really delivers with this incredible journey that is brimming with all of the feels.
