My Darling Arrow by Saffron A. Kent

Release Date: September 17

Darling Arrow,
I shouldn’t be writing this.
It’s not as if I’m ever going to send you this letter, and there are a million reasons why.
First of all, I was sent to this reform school as a punishment for a petty, totally inconsequential crime. Not to ogle the principal’s hot son around the campus.
Second of all, you’re a giant jerk. You’re arrogant and moody and so cold. Sometimes I think I shouldn’t even like you.
But strangely your coldness sets me on fire.
The way your athletic body moves on the soccer field, and the way your powerful thighs sprawl across that motorcycle of yours, make me go inappropriately breathless.
But that’s not the worst part.
The worst part is that you, Arrow Carlisle, are not only the principal’s hot son.
You also happen to be the love of my sister’s life.
And I really shouldn’t be thinking about my sister’s boyfriend, or rather fiancé (I overheard a conversation about the ring that I shouldn’t have).
Now if I can only stop writing you these meaningless letters that I’ll never send and you’ll never read…
Never yours,
Salem

NOTE: This book is a standalone and DOES NOT contain cheating

Reviews:
My Darling Arrow is the first book in the St. Mary's Rebels series by Saffron Kent. I knew just by reading the blurb that I would like this story. Saffron is a master storyteller, and I've enjoyed every single book that she's written. But this one right here... I LOVED IT SO HARD! Told in dual perspectives. Get ready to meet Salem and Arrow.

Salem has been in love with Arrow for as long as she's known him. He is five years older. He's sexy. He's a pro soccer player. He is her legal guardian's son. But most importantly, he's her sister's boyfriend. Therefore, he is strictly off-limits. So because of this she loves him in silence from afar.

Fast forward eight years. Arrow and Salem's sister are out in LA chasing his dream, and Salem is in reform school where she has been trying to fit in. When she finds out that Arrow is back and her new soccer coach, she is in shock. Even more so when she discovers that he and her sister have broken up.

What follows is a messy, intense and steamy love story between this perfectly imperfect pair. Salem is quirky and determined to get what she wants. Arrow is a broken and broody asshole who's lost his way. Together these two make for a highly entertaining, emotional and scorching hot read. I simply can't recommend this book enough! 5 stars and so many, many more!

What an amazing book. This book is 100% character driven. There is no suspense, no twists and turns, just pure, raw human emotion. This book follows Salem(love the name) and of course Arrow, and the many secrets they have.
Salem is quirky, she is strong in her convictions and knows what she wants but shouldn’t.Arrow is a mixed bag, he’s for sure an alpha male, but boy he has his issues. The raw beauty of this book, and with how well it’s written makes you want to crawl inside the pages to live in this world the author has created.
Told in dual POV, I cannot wait for more from the secondary character as this will be a series.Mark this as a must read, I cannot recommend this book enough.
